Perfect Presentation Training - Do It Right!

< Award Winning Presentation Training skills & presentation skills training seminars courses are world class leaders in public speaking training. >

Are you faced with the task of creating the perfect presentation? Are you hesitant because you've never done a good presentation? Well I have some help for you today. I through trial and error have learned how to create great presentations. The very first thing you need to ascertain is who are you presenting to? Are you present into your peers, your boss, the salespeople or the customer? Your presentation would be very different for each one of these people. Once you know who you presenting to, the best thing you can do is get yourself a big whiteboard. Now write down all the ideas all of the board that you wish to be in the presentation. Remember this is just a brainstorm session. Not looking for structure and you're not looking to tie one idea to another. You just try to get as many facts on this whiteboard that you can.

You'll find as you start the brainstorming process on your whiteboard, that you'll not able to write fast enough. So don't worry if your writing is bad, just get the facts down? Once you've emptied your mind of every single fact that you think should be in the presentation, step back and have one of your favorite beverages. Whether it be a coffee or a Coke, the idea is to take a quick break. After you've had about a five minute break, take another look at your whiteboard in what you wrote down on it. Do you feel you've missed any points? Do you see any points that seem irrelevant to the topic at hand? You see any points that seem to tie together?

Now you have access to another whiteboard, start taking the ideas that are similar and write them together on the new white board in point form. As you write them from the first whiteboard, don't erase them from the first whiteboard just put a line through them. Keep doing this until you've tried all the different ideas together. You'll find that you will be able to tie about 80% of the points you wrote on the first whiteboard into several ideas that would fit well together in your presentation. Plus you'll still have 20% that seem to sit on their own and may be relevant but are minor points. Now move to your second whiteboard. Take a look at the major points in circle which point it's as strong as in each group. I think about each one of the strong points and if you had to explain them all what order should they be presented?

Now's the time for you to take your piece of paper or your favorite word processor and take those major points that you tied together into a storyline and create your presentation. Whether you know to not, within about 30 to 60 minutes you built the perfect presentation. Congratulations.
