Things To Think About When Presenting
Presentation Training is provided across the United States and Canada. Participants have three options to attend and participate in our presentation training. Presentations are delivered via public open enrollment courses in all major metropolitan areas and are also available to be delivered on-site via private courses. The 3rd option is to attend Online Webinar Presentations Skills Workshops. Our face to face Presentation Training can be provided as off-the-shelf sessions, ready to be delivered to a diverse audience or can be customized to provide a tailored and personalized presentation training approach based on client needs. All presentations courses are limited to a maximum of twelve participants so as to increase presentation course effectiveness and provide the individual level of face to face or online coaching and interaction that is associated with the Presentations Training Skills Center.

Would you like to improve the quality of your business presentations? Do you have someone that you would like to model to achieve excellence and success in delivering business presentations? If you answered yes to these questions then this presentation training exercise is for you.
This exercise allows you to create useful states by visualizing excellence in the spirit of Milton Eriksons famous quote, "You can pretend anything and master it."
Step #1
Think of the business presentation that you are required to give. Allow yourself to feel nervous or scared about this business presentation, it will assist in forming the neural networks.
Step #2
Choose a person who you feel is an excellent presenter. It may be another colleague, a mentor or perhaps someone you watched on TV. You need to know enough about them to know how they would relate to you.
Step #3
Express the beliefs that you think are limiting your business presentation skills. State this is real terms out loud to yourself. Try beginning the phrase such as, "I am scared by.....", or "I don't know how to.....”
Step #4
Imagine that you are interacting with your mentor and that you are explaining the situation as well as your limiting beliefs.
Step #5
Imagine encouragement from your mentor. Picture him or her giving you encouragement stated in the positive and encouraging you to become a better business presenter.
Step #6
Imagine yourself and your mentor acting as if the outcomes stated where coming true. Imagine that you have successfully resolved all the issues you had with giving presentations and you are able to deliver our presentations with full confidence. Understand how you will be thinking or acting differently.
Step #7
Handle any leftover issues related to giving your business presentation. Repeat from Step #2 to deal with these issues.
Step #8
Go ahead and deliver your business presentation. Notice the changes in your behavior and delivery.
This presentation training exercise is best done for small parts of your overall presentation. Perhaps to deal with your body language or helping your voice sound more confident. You can repeat the presentation training exercise for as many parts of your business presentation that you feel may benefit from this.
